What is intelliCents?

IntelliCents is our state of the art shopping cart and inventory management software. The software can be used with any look and feel design. IntelliCents is not limited to any certain templates or styles.

The intelliCents web cart can be used with your own inventory, or we can provide the inventory for you. Yes, we have available suppliers who will let you sell their inventory! This inventory can be shipped directly to your customers with your name on the box! Don't forget, you can use your own inventory as well.

There are three category levels available. Users can browse through your merchandise via this hierarchal structure or can utilize the intelliSearch. The intelliSearch will search your product database on the desired keyword to find a product match. Results are displayed with a thumbnail picture of the item along with the product title, and optional price and description. Thumbnails help entice users to buy products. Browsing by category will bring a user the thumbnail results as well.

Products can be pushed via the specials tag. Items marked with the specials tag can automatically be displayed on a specials page, the home page, or really anywhere you like. Providing specials also helps entice buyers to purchase.

Once an item is place into the shopping cart the user gets to experience intelliShip. IntelliShip is our proprietary shipping calculator technology. IntelliShip is a lightning fast shipping calculator. Why is a fast shipping calculator important? There are many reasons, but one that is most important. If the calculator is too slow business gets lost.

Our FedEx calculator calculates shipping costs dynamically. The currently supported FedEx shipping types include:
FedEx First Overnight
FedEx Priority Overnight
FedEx Standard Overnight
FedEx 2Day
FedEx Express Saver
FedEx Ground
FedEx Home Delivery
FedEx Hundredweight
Other shipping types are also available.

If the user opts not to calculate shipping on their own, the calculation is done automatically in the background.

IntelliCents supports multiple ship from addresses as well as multiple ship to addresses. All within one transaction.

IntelliCents utilizes profiling data for marketing and repeat visitors.
Collected data includes first name, last name, company name, billing address, billing city, billing state, billing postal code, billing country, billing phone, billing fax, billing email, and billing www addresses. The data also includes items purchased, items looked at but not purchased, and the shipping information as well.

This data can be utilized by the marketing department to cross sell and to encourage repeat sales. The information is stored for the user, to ease the repeat shopping experience. The user can just simply log-in and skip the forms.

The cart is currently integrated into Authorize.net and PayPal for monetary transactions. Other payment gateways are also available.

Managing the store is handled through the intelliCents Application Administrator. From there you can Manage the category structure, add and edit products, upload pictures and files, view orders, edit the content, view unused baskets, and edit font styles.

As are all Web Services Media products, intelliCents is built on award winning Microsoft technology. All Web Services Media managed applications run on Windows servers in a state of the art data center.
